2008, Audi Achieve 1 million Cars

In the middle of recessionary storm, Audi AG is able to achieve sales target 1 million cars in 2008.

This is the first time in the history of the successful German manufacturer sell 1,003,400 units in a year. Increased 4.1 percent from the previous year sales only 964,151 units.

"This 13 years record be a success by the whole Audi team," said Managing Director of Audi AG, Rupert Stadler, as quoted from topspeed, Friday 9 January 2009.

"We will continue this tradition until 2009. We also have the mission to make Audi the best brand in the world," he added.

Sales of Audi helped by Audi Q5 and the youngest members in 2008, the Audi A4 family.

Last variant rise 17.4 percent in December to be 82,800 units. Higher than sales in December 2007 which only reached 70,523 units.

Best sales going on Europe and Asia-Pacific region, not less than 822,100 units sold in these two regions.

While in Australia, was increasing 30.2 percent compared to last year with total sales reaching 9,410 units.

I think, Audi is the best car brand with a fantastic level of sales. Able to exceed the sales of cars with the same level. How do yo think about this?
